Experimenting a great happyness by the exhibition in New York, Helena makes a serie "Sunflowers rote", where is destached the painting "Sunflowers (pour Van Gogh)"
In May of 1996 through the action of Ruy Lacerda (again), is inserted in the "Euronorte", a congress organized by the "Associação Industrial Portuense" , that took place at the imponent Europarque - Santa Maria da Feira

Madrid, The hugely popular magazine SEMANA reports the meeting of Helena Amaral with the President of Galicia dr Fraga Iribarne

In El Ferrol,Galicia, is done an exhibition in Helena`s homage. The iniciative came from the energetic director of "Art Galicia" magazine, D. Carlos Bárcon.

Helena is represented at the book "Guia de Arte 90" -Barcelona. Helena is invited to take part in a collective exhibition in Barcelona in Homage to Miró and Tapies.

Marie Montserrat of "Montserrat Gallery" - New York is in Barcelona and asks "I`m looking for something new!" Her search finished when found the Helena`s flowers.

She invited the portuguese to do an exhibition in New York in July of 95.

France
Encouraged by the successes at Europarque, Helena decided to make a great exhibition in Paris.

At the beginning everything was well and the artist got important supports (of the economical group of leaded by António Champalimaud- one of the richest men in Portugal) and a very difficult Gallery. But after there were a lot of errors, left escape a great success.

Switzerland
Helena delivers personally a painting to the Olympic Museum. (Lausanne)

The magazine "Who`s who in international Art" , releases a seal in Homage to Helena. The painting represented at this seal is "Pansies" .

U.S.A.
Helena does an exhibition in the Montserrat Gallery (New York, Soho) from 15th July to second August.

However the success was so great that the exhibition would be prolonged more one month.

26th February Helena took part in a collective exhibition of European painters in the "Meridian International Center", Washington DC.

This event was managed by the Cyclop` Art (Oyonnax, France) and by the alliance française in Washington. This invitation came after the representatives of the Cyclop` Art, have seen the excellent exhibition of Helena in Paris .

Helena was invited to this important event as spanish.

This event was a success, having Helena got the attention of the important Art magazine "ARTnews".

Helena exposes again at the Montserrat Gallery.

This time by the great promotion that she had got, at the "ARTnews" magazine, the exhibition is an astonishing success and its time originally marked (from July 15th August second) is prolonged till October.
