In 2007 Helena was proposed for Prize PRÉMIO PRÍNCIPE DAS ASTURIAS .

Her candidature was supported by a very powerful group of figures as Eng. António Guterres (Secretary of UNITED NATIONS) , Eng. Ludgero Marques (President of AEP) , Association ADA, Don Fraga Iribarne, dr. José Gonçalves (CAIXA GERAL DOS DEPÓSITOS), CAIXANOVA and WHO' S WHO IN INTERNATIONAL who replied with this critic:
